How to Create a Simple Business Card in Photoshop

Hey Guys, This is Team Apple for you. Today I'm gonna to show you how to create a very simple styled Business Card in Photoshop.
We realize that, Business Card is exceptionally helpful and important thing for each Business Man, Employer, Designer and every expert individuals. By the way, Let's begin our today's work.

[Note: I have done this tutorial by using Adobe Photoshop CC. It may be work on Adobe Photoshop cs6, cs7, CC 2014, CC 2015 and CC 2017.]

STEP 1
To design or create your own Business Card, you must need to know the size, bled area and other things. A business Card's usual size is 3.5 inch width and 2 inch height. If we do our design in this size, in the time of print some font or design may be cut in that time,  For safety of the bled area, we must need to layout. So, please have a look at the screenshot below.



Hey friend, what you noticed from this screenshot? Here we created a new page from file. Also we set the size of this Business Card, which is 3.75 inch width and 2.25 inch height. Cause, We have got a excess safety area, which is 0.25 inch.

STEP 2
We've got excess area but did not marked it. So just go to left side and select Ruler Tool from there. Now press Ctrl+R to show Ruler. Then, set Ruler 0.25 and 0.50 different size from the ground around the card.



STEP 3
Select Pen Tool from left  bar. Also select Shape instead Path and pick a black color. Now mark the area with black color, like as the screenshot.



STEP 4
Now duplicate the shape, that you created in previous step. Change the color into red and go to layer panel and drug this layer and move under the black shape layer. Also use Pen Tool to create two shape that's in the middle of the card.
After that, select Rectangle Tool. and create a red shape like the screenshot below.



STEP 5
Again select Rectangle Tool and select Black color from color option and create 4 small rectangle shape as same like the screenshot below.
By the way, Click right button from Rectangle Tool. You can see Custom Shape tool under the Rectangle tool. (Please look the screenshot above) Select that. Then you can choose your desired icon and art them here. (screenshot below)



STEP 6
Okay, our layout is ready. At this moment, we need to add Company Logo, Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, Business Location and QR code in Business card for proper design.
By the way, select the text tool and add your businessman's name and other information.



Please keep it in mind that, use Bold text for Businessman's name. And use I've used Arial Block for this Business Card. It is a free text and you can find it in your font option by typing ARIAL BLOCK.

For design back side of this business card, just follow step 1 to step 4 of front side tutorial above. It is very easy and simple. Then add Company logo. Okay, we are done.
