Knight Girl - Photoshop Manipulation

In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show you how to manipulate a photo and put it another background. So, let's do it.

STEP 1
First of all open the girl's stock image in Photoshop and select Pen Tool from the left bar of Photoshop. After getting the Pen Tool, select the hole area around the girl.



STEP 2
Once you select whole area, press Ctrl+Enter. You will see this type window, like the Screenshot below. Now, select Rectangular Marque Tool. You will find this tool under Move Tool. After select Rectangular Marque Tool, you will find Refine Edge. It helps us to separate the girl's hair, optimize the way. Click the Refine Edge option. See the Picture below.



STEP 3
When you click Refine edge, you will find a brush. Rub the brush side of hairs of the girl, like the image below. After all, click OK.



STEP 4
Now click the Mask icon from the layer panel. I have already indicated the mask icon by the yellow rectangle in below Image. For this action, unnecessary background will be removed from the image. Then go to file and save it in PNG format in Desktop.



STEP 5
So far, we've been working on girl's image. Now, create a new page from file. Size will be 1280 inch x 768 inch. Then import a City background image in Photoshop.



STEP 6
Select Lasso Tool from left bar of Photoshop and select the sky from above all buildings. Then press Ctrl+Shift+I for Invert Selection. And now click the Mask icon to remove the sky from the city image.



STEP 7
Import the girl's image under the city, which we saved in PNG format before.



Again select Lasso Tool from left bar of Photoshop. Select any building by using Lasso Tool.



Then press Ctrl+C to copy and press Ctrl+V to paste near. Duplicate the Building layer and set them under and above the girl's hand, like the Image below.



STEP 8
Now, import a sky image under all layers. Then go to Filter > Camera Raw Filter or Image > Adjustment > Hue / Saturation to adjust the color of clouds.



STEP 9
In this step, we will create a custom light here. So, just create a new layer above the 'Sky' layer. And get Orange and White color by using Eye Dropper. Then select Brush tool from left bar of Photoshop. First hit the brush to create a big Orange shape and also create a small white shape in the middle of Orange shape, like as the Screenshot below. Now, Set this layer's blending mood into screen.



Duplicate the layer and move it on the top.



STEP 10
Now create a new layer above all the layers. And go to Image > Apply Image to gather all layers in one. Then go to Filter  >  Color FX Pro and add your desired effect there. At last click OK.



Please keep it in mind that, Color FX Pro is not a Photoshop difficult application. It's a product of google. You can get it from their website, and use absolutely free.
